Enikő Szőcsné Gazda

curator, ethnographer

She studied ethnography at Babeș-Bolyai University in Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca) and received her doctorate in 2011 at the Doctoral School of Multidisciplinary Liberal Arts at the University of Debrecen. She works as a curator and the Head of the Ethnographical Department of the Székely National Museum in Sepsiszentgyörgy, Transylvania (Sfântu Gheorghe) since 1994. She has organised several exhibitions on various ethnographical themes.

Her main research interest is historical ethnography, she has published numerous books on legacy inventories, history of home-industry and folk-ethics.

 

She is one of the invited speakers on the topic of Object biographies at the conference.
